(no subject)
criminal minds: season two.
i still have no icons. hotch and reid are still my favorites. (FAAAAAAAAAAAAVORITES. i declare my love for hotch SO. MUCH. he's just so fucking adorable and filled with manpain! he could teach dean winchester a thing or two, let me tell you. and reid is obviously adorable.)
season two had more boring episodes though. and i was really surprised at how they ruined their own tension build-up with the reid storyline. they could have EASILY pulled that out for another episode or two. the resolution happened way too quickly! i wanted more angsty reid! (yeah, i dig torturing my favorite characters.) but i mean, holy shit, who knew james van der beek could actually act? those episodes were fucking STELLAR. (THE HOTCH/REID HUG, OH GOD. LOVE IT. i also love jj's FACE. she is the cutest.)
i just finished the special features, and my team gubler affiliation is going strong after that commentary.
i spend too much time thinking about my manicure.
why the fuck is it so hard to find midnight blue nail polish? i just want a really deep, almost black even, dark blue. i'm on nail polish number three now in this quest. the first one turned out to be purple, and the second one was more indigo. this one, which you'd think would be perfect, is actually a little too turquoise. UGH. maybe it'll look better under natural light tomorrow. or maybe the nail polish fairy will show up on my doorstep with the perfect shade. (i am also looking for a dark gunmetal polish, if you have any suggestions. i can't be the only one this insane about my nail polish!) (for the record though, american apparel's polish goes on really nicely, but their brushes are shit. i expect more from a $6 bottle of nail polish, y'all.)
sometimes i make stuff, and then the internet judges me.
i made a hugglepuff shirt last weekend, FINALLY! there's a step-by-step set of photos up at my flickr. i also posted pictures of the finished product to my deviantart account, and within 60 seconds someone left me a comment telling me i spelled "hufflepuff" wrong. yep.
it's almost tuesday!
I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT WHITE COLLAR. mostly i am expressing this excitement by harassing getaway_machine and yelling about neal's face. (HIS FACE THOUGH, YOU GUYS.) and also by watching the whole thing again. you know what i would really like to see? neal caffrey vs. veronica mars. (i've decided i need to watch season one again sometime soon.) why doesn't this exist yet?
