spoilers: i love everything about white collar.

-i didn't really understand the appeal of matt bomer until i actually watched the show. i mean, i've seen photos and incredibly accurate drawings, but goddamn he looks good on this show. the suits! the hair! the stubble! the all-too-rare lack of shirts! the one where he goes undercover as mr. black, with the leather jacket and his hair slicked back? nnnhgrehrufr!!! my brain has officially cast him as daemon sadi, which obviously helps.

-i love everybody on this show. the rate that i yell "[whichever character is on-screen], i love you best!" is a little alarming. and yet always true!

-i watched the commentaries too. so i also love the whole cast and made hearthands a lot during those.

-everything up there was written at 6:30am, after i finished the show but before i went to sleep. well, before i watched some doctor who and went to sleep. #excellentlifechoices

-i could watch the neal/peter/elizabeth show all day. can we just have neal crash their breakfasts more often? he can bring mozzie once in a while. or jones. or we can just have the entire cast eat breakfast together from now on.

(there are spoilers below this point!)

-neal caffrey. oh neal. i love watching him con people almost as much as i love watching him flirt. (and then watching peter roll his eyes. watching peter roll his eyes at neal is one of my top five favorite activities in life.) doing the counterfeits, admiring a job well done ("i admire your alleged work!"), not taking credit for his work... he's like a little kid in a candy shop. he's breaking my heart a lot more in season 2, especially in "point blank" though, in the scene with fowler. SADFACES ALL OVER THE PLACE :(

-peterrrrrrrrrr! i love peter's sense of humor, and his relationship with el, and his exasperation with neal a lot of the time, and his inability to flirt. i was so upset when we thought he had kate that i had to walk away from the computer, because if neal can't trust peter than who can he trust?

-elizabeth. i love that she's the glue that holds these two together. i loved peter coming downstairs and finding neal on his couch chatting with el. i love her relationships with mozzie and jones and everyone else. her reaction to peter flirting with the doctor lady was PRICELESS. a lot of network notes are rubbish, but the network requesting more neal/peter/elizabeth is SPOT ON. the three of them really are fabulous and have so much chemistry. (and tiffani is GORGEOUS. damn, girl. they dress her really well too, and her make-up is always just right.)

-MOZZIE. i am in total denial about the possibility of him not being okay. his paranoia and his nicknames for everyone and his NECKERCHIEFS, oh man. i love him so much. i think he's the character i declare my love for the most. he's just so ineptly charming! i want to see more of his safehouses, and i definitely want him to spend more time with el. also i love that willie texts eastin in between takes to tell him how terrible his writing is, hahaha.

-it's getting hard to find new ways of saying "BUT I LOVE [WHOEVER] SO MUCH!" so i love jones, and his sense of humor and tolerance of neal. i love diana's lack of amusement with mozzie and her dedication to peter. i loved that lauren wouldn't let neal get away with anything. alex has really grown on me, although i still don't really trust her.

-i was going to talk about the episodes too, but i don't even really know what to say. neal's shrug when he escapes in "free fall" kills me everytime! i love every single thing about "hard sell," but especially neal's audition and the tension with peter! "vital signs"! with the singing and the breaking out of the cuffs and the drugged but heartfelt confession! and with peter's terrible flirting and illegal activites to protect neal! the planning and theft of the music box! mozzie's dedication to the corrupt politician in "need to know," and neal's bonding with diana! the CI-off in "prisoner's dilemma"! i know i left out so much stuff, but I LOVE IT ALL.

-i think i need to watch the show again now, over and over, until january 18th. ok? ok.
