i watched so much farscape this weekend.

i don't have any farscape icons yet, because (a) i just fixed my computer and (b) i can't really look for icons while avoiding spoilers. which sucks. but whatever. i'm about to finish disc 2 of season 2.

there's a point in s1 where things pick up and i stop being bored at some point in every episode, which is good. i also decided that i need to watch this show while surfing the internet or eating dinner, which also helped. i really dislike watching tv like that, but these episodes all feel SO LONG if i don't. anyway, i think it picked up on disc 4. that's also the point where almost all of the characters i remember show up (we're still missing one lady, and i am really confused about where stark went.) AND it's a pretty consistent run of episodes. i really like how the crichton/aeryn thing is being handled (sparingly) and i am pretty much in love with pilot.

it's really annoying how something you thought was wrapped up (like people not trusting chiana) is suddenly and with no explanation causing problems again though. and the thing with the disappearing characters. (seriously, where did stark go? i know i was preoccupied with fixing kibeth, but did he...leave? where could he have possibly even gone? they had just escaped! they were in an asteroid belt! i probably wouldn't even care, except i have fond memories of him and so i wasn't expecting him to leave. is it like sam leaving the west wing? it makes perfect sense if you watched as it aired, but when you go back and rewatch the whole thing you realize nobody ever mentions his sudden disappearance?)

anyway, i've been tweeting about the show a little, but i was really only half watching the 3 zillion episodes i saw this weekend. i somehow got some viruses on thursday night when i tried to download spn, so i had to remove one of the viruses and then, since my system still wasn't running right, i backed everything up and reinstalled the os today. the funniest part of the whole thing is that i was freaking out but my brain felt so bad for me that it gave me the stupidest anxiety dreams ever. thursday night it was vegetables i didn't like hidden under the cheese of my veggie pizza, and last night it was trying to play skeeball with stuff balls that wouldn't roll right. what even? (thank you, brain.)

also, it is MAY. i couldn't go to shrimp fest this weekend because i have to work tomorrow, but my cousins are in town and then it should be a non-stop whirly-gig of fun. i just realized that once we get through may POTTERLAND is opening. holy shit.

i think it's time to finish my laundry and watch this last episode ("dream a little dream") so i can get to bed. i lead a super-exciting life, y'all.
