i am slightly concerned that this post makes no sense.
my belly hurts. movie night was filled with too much junk food! and too many cats! and now my eye is not really functioning! joy!
anyway, i am leaving here ass-early in the morning (read: 8:15am) and getting to orlando around 3pm and i am very excited. i love my family like i love breathing, but i miss my bed and my guitar and my SPACE. i also miss being able to go out without worrying about running into people i don't want to see & playing loud music and singing along.
here are some very important links to hold you over until i get around to setting up internet which i swear i am going to do soonest if only because spn is coming back on the 15th:
-i love bess rogers a lot, for realz. i actually bought her cd before i bought jenny's, and i had a small seizure when she walked onstage at the last jenny show i went to. her voice is just fucking gorgeous, okay? so anyway, she posted a new song on her blog and it was by far the best christmas gift i got this year.
(you guys, my jenniversary is almost here!!! how should i celebrate this year? i think there might be a merch run involved. and possibly baked goods. maybe i should throw a SPREAD THE JOY party? hm.)
-so i have this cousin. she is a blonde polish cheerleader. well, she's not a cheerleader anymore because she is not in hs anymore, but still. she looks and talks and acts like paris hilton. (she is very smart and yet totally dumb. it baffles me sometimes.) anyway, she and her friends had to pump gas this one time, and they filmed the experience and put it on youtube. i just. you guys! she makes more than twice as much money as me, AND YET!!! sometimes i despair for this world.
-no lie, this is my favorite lolcat ever. ever ever ever ever ever. EVER!
-i have been sitting here jamming out to my bandish playlist, and i was like "who the eff is this? i don't recognize this sound at all!" and then i remembered that i was checking out this kid's myspace. i am really digging his sound- very mellow, low-key, and well-put-together.
-i thought i had more links. urgh.
uh, anyway, i have so much fic bookmarked to read! i hardly got through any yuletide stuff, which is lame, but this week has been stupidly busy. and some people on the flist have been reccing bandom stuff like crazy so i have all THAT saved too! oh on that note, pretty. odd. has been consumed, but i have decided that i cannot accurately judge it because ryan ross's voice seriously does things to me. it's kind of a sickness! except for the "kind of" part!
