i'm fucking tired, so how about some bullet points.
-who left me this comment? or, alternately, who wants to tell me a safe way to download that and confirm its non-virus status without any risk to my baby? it doesn't matter much though- i had a shitty day on thursday and engaged in some retail therapy, so the cd should be here next week. (i also bought these shoes. the american eagle line at payless continues to be irresistably cute, in case you were wondering.)
-the '20s party was awesome. g and i looked hot, if i do say so myself. we did not solve the murder or do much of note (she stole someone's ring, i spread a rumor that she had sex with him, and then i spread a rumor that the congressman was sleeping with g's husband- and for some reason, everyone took my rumors at face value haha) but good times were had. and then we played apples to apples and everyone was strangely literal- i did not approve! (g left a picture of us in my myspace comments, so you can see it there or wait for me to be less lazy and save it.)
-my body can no longer handle either a lack of sleep or some very casual drinking- i'm not sure which it is yet, but that's now three weeks in a row that was i was so nauseous on my way to work that i almost had to pull over. I DO NOT APPROVE.
-and actually, i was late to work and then sat on a hop ball for probably two hours, followed by a game of who what where and a trip to the diner for lunch. i am clearly the best employee ever.
-i just bitched out dell and got my way, which was very satisfying. apparently when they told me they were going to give me $150 coupon, they meant they were going to send two $75 coupons that couldn't be combined or used on items that cost less than $75. in the end though, i got an external harddrive, a laptop stand thing, a (pink!!) mouse, and a flash drive for $15. ::wins::
-work sucks. especially the office, but dumping all the store bullshit (one of my favorite coworkers quit, and a useless one decided that he's only working weekends, which means there are only two of us to close during the week now) on top is making me very cranky. i think i need to take a personal day soon and do some pampering. i was actually considering telling m that i want to go back to part-time and have off on sundays, but fuck that. i have not worked my ass off for the past however many months to lose my two weeks paid vacation just cos i'm tired!
-i think i know what i am getting for my next tattoo. i haven't drawn it yet, but it's going to be a tree in a circle, based loosely on this necklace, just black ink again. i kind of want to get it on the inside of my wrist, but i'm not 100% sure about that yet. if not, it'll probably be on my shoulder. (left side, in either case. gotta keep 'em balanced!) either way, i will probably be going with g to her friend's shop in the next few months. but if it's the wrist, i'm gonna do it right before i move so my parents have less chances to freak out about my job prospects, hahaha.
