jack johnson - constellations. brings up lots of good memories for me. more of a quiet summer song. stars above are chasing the day away / to find the stories that we sometimes need.
pearl jam - marker in the sand. possibly my favorite song off the new album, but that is subject to change because i also really love "gone" and "army reserve" and um. all of them. but this is the one i chose to upload this week! so unforgiving, yet needing forgiveness first.
spacehog - never coming down pt. 2 i don't know, it just makes me happy! i looked up the lyrics, but um. really it's about the music and the "ohhhhhhh"ing.
the b-52s - rock lobster. because it is summer! they used to play this on my old radio station and it became my summer song. somebody went under a dock / and there they saw a rock / it wasn't a rock / it was a rock lobster!

random tidbits: i am watching alexa tomorrow while everyone else sets up the surprise party, which would be awesome if it wasn't happening at 9am; i went swimming today because it was warm and sunny and completely lacking in rain (for the first time in what feels like months); my father's day gift consists of a bowling gift certificate, which has to be a world record in lameness but WHATEVER, he needs to improve his bowling skillz; paper mache is a lot tricker (and messier!) than i thought it would be, but i have two more hours before the family returns so i can still clean up haha; i totally want to get a job at rag shop because i went there today and the workers were freaking awesome and a discount would be sweet as hell; i think i love ocean's 12 more than ocean's 11, mostly because the soundtrack is so much better on the second one.
