I have good timing
Well, sort of intentionally good timing. I saw the forecast for the foul weather last night and that was why on Saturday I was so gung-ho about getting the plastic cover screwed to the house.
Well. That was some weather and I made a very good decision. The wind was so strong it blew over my neighbor's rather large gas grill. (If I still had any veggies up, they probably would have gone over, too. It's happened before.)
Rain was very heavy, a couple of inches. And my basement is dry!
