Yes, 'the youngsters are making a fuss' annoys the crap out of me. It's partly because other people made fusses about other things earlier that these people are fussing about this. And it's ALSO because they're just wrong about the fact that no one fussed about it before (and some things people didn't fuss about or weren't heard because yeah, just too tired or just too pervasive). Rewriting history to suit yourself doesn't actually make it true. Though it's a nice effort, I guess.
