http://www.theatlantic.com/infocus/2011/08/where-in-the-world-a-google-earth-puzzle/100120/ I got 3 fully correct, 4 half-correct, and 8 one-quarter correct. I'm giving myself 7 points.
Fully-correct = I knew exactly what I was looking at.
Half-correct = solid correct guess on what country, or what specific part of the USA.
Quarter-correct = correct guess on specific region of the world by natural geography rather than human borders.
So, for instance, I took a quarter point for knowing something was in Southeast Asia. I took a half point for "British Isles somewhere--wow that is so British."
I took a full point for 4, 8 and 21. I'm proud of knowing #8, since I got that entirely by recognizing what I was looking at. #21 is a gimme, with the giant clue in the caption. I'm claiming full credit for #4, because while I didn't know specifically which lake, I knew which border and could narrow the choice of lake to three.
Half points for: 2, 5, 13, 18
Quarter points for: 1, 7, 10, 11, 14 (I should have known that one better!), 17, 20, 25
