Meme time

Mar 15, 2010 09:12

Not feeling very good today, so staying home. Have just enough energy to do a meme, nicked from vonandmoggy.

Lots of pillows or just one?
Lots. I nest.

What kind of books do you read?
Mostly nonfic these days.

What’s one thing you’ve wondered about today?
It's not even 9am. I'm non-wondery until at least noon.

ZOMBIES OR ROBOTS: Which apocalypse is scarier?
Zombies score high on my personal pantheon of ick.

If you could be doing anything else at this precise moment, what would it be?
Having an adventure. Though really, I'm not feeling up to it, as I'm at home, sick. But adventure is almost always preferable to anything else I'm doing.

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Haven't got one at the moment. Trying to remain obsessed with the idea of purchasing a house, because obsession is the only thing that will see me through that grotty process.

Cake or cookies?
Don't make me choose! (Though honestly, cake.)

What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Lj, ICHC, Whatever, a site where I check what the stock market and gold prices are doing.

What was the last thing you bought?
Groceries. The last thing rung through was probably the romaine lettuce.

How do you think you'll die?
The same way as Catherine the Great. Oh, stop it, you perv; the horse thing is a myth. She died of a stroke while on the toilet.

Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?
Alternately salty and sweet things. This is probably why I love chocolate covered pretzels so much.

What do you do to change your mood?
Music. Hug the cat. Read something fun. (Because I only ever try to change my mood to something better. I am curious, though, if people deliberately try to bring themselves down. Ow! I just wondered before noon!)

What was the last meal you ate?
Dinner last night. I made some fish.

Do you want to learn another language?
I would love to learn them all!

Five things you can't live without.
1) Air (duh)
2) reading material
3) friends
4) a properly-functioning brain
5) ugh, I'm just going to say practical things, so never mind.

Name 5 items that you can actually lay your hands on right now without moving - your computer doesn’t count.
1) random bills
2) a tape measure
3) a dry-erase marker (orange)
4) my birth certificate
5) my phone

What was the last movie you saw in the theater?
The new Alice in Wonderland. Pretty good. I'll be happy, though, when the rash of Avatar-inspired 3D releases runs it course.

What are you looking forward to?
Seeing friends at Lunacon next weekend.
