Olive's hay rack and new food bowl came! Day late 'cause of the storm, but I'm very pleased with both. So is she--she's already having a fight with the hay rack to get the best bits out.

Most racks are cheap little wire things, but this one is big and made of wood, with a solid back. Worth the money (less hay on the crate floor, yay! I just hope ( Read more... )

I don't really know. I guess I'll keep her a while and see how things go... But she's a lot of bunny, and I dunno about having her and a dog. And I am NOT waiting another ten years for a dog.

She's excellent, isn't she? :D
Don't remember if Barrowman was in the promo...they might have used his lines for VO without showing him. (I knew he'd be on the show months ago and then his name was in the beginning credits...probably also read on AfterElton he'd be starting last night. So I was just wondering when he'd show.)

I don't love it, either. I never like anyone knocking on the door, and some of the kids around here are...well, they make faces if you hand them the candy they don't like as much as what the kid next to them got (we usually have three or four kinds, but we give out two pieces (unless it's late and we wanna lose a bit more)) but if you let them grab for themselves the little fiends take as much as they can get.
And of course older kids without costumes are generally...well, come on.
--Most are okay, though, esp. the wee ones all dressed up who really seem to mean it when they say thanks.

And the kid who looked at my brother's feet and got all big-eyed and said "Are you a Hobbit?" will live forever in the history of our family.

Aw yeah. Dog has higher priority, definitely.

Yeah, I was thinking VO too. Can't be bothered to look it up.
I've basically given up any interest in Barrowman nowadays, and haven't bene keeping up with Arrow news either, so was an interesting surprise. He better not act for the back row. Urgh. That was what made me stop liking him in the first place.

You have to dress up damnit! And kids in costumes are adorable, as long as they behave.

Omg XD Does your brother have really hairy feet?
You have a hobbit brother! Yay!

I'd love to do both, 'cause I'd hate to give her up. (But like I said in another post...if I do keep her, I've gotta get her a friend. But maybe it'd help keep her entertained, heh.)

Yep, me too.

Yeah, pretty fuzzy...but you know how tall he is. Not the most accurate hobbit, LOL!

You need to get a dog that magically makes her their best friend. That would solve everything.

He seemed to do well enough in that short car scene. There's hope!

Your brother is evidently a changeling. One parents was a hobbit, one was a giant.

That's the problem--most dogs I want tend to EAT rabbits. So they'd be apart. Some hunting types can be taught that a rabbit is part of the family, or at the very least MINE and not his/hers to touch, but they still need to be kept apart. (The main issue I can see is making time/space to exercise both. Have to have somewhere to put the dog when the bunny/bunnies are hopping (at least outside my room)...I think we could fence a bit of the yard, but depending on the dog that might or might not work.)

Yeah, he was all right. Hopefully this show will know how to keep him reined in.

I asked them what they'd be from LOTR a while ago, and I just can't remember what they said... (Mom could be a hobbit, with all her gardening and cooking...but Dad's have to be some sort of hyper elf.)
