PUPPY! *FLAILS*

So, yeah, that went just fine! Alarm doesn't seem too bad--rather like the one at Cody's.

Allie is very excited/submissive; mouthy and vocal. Smart cookie, too, braving the stairs that scared her yesterday, adventuring all over the back yard (eating things.) Cute, cute, cute. Eight weeks. She was from a dumped litter in North Carolina; got on a transport to PA after she was the last one left, but stopped off here before she got there. So she was a surprise, kinda.

Not certain I like all of how they're handling her; they get she's too excited, but they add to it. Said her name when they meant "No". But they get she's got a lot of powerful breeds in her and they seem to know well how to deal. I like them, I think, yes.
I did talk them out of leaving her out between my visits (O.O I didn't go "BUT SHE'S A BABY" but pointed out, like, rabid animals and stuff, who knows, and they were like O.O YEAH (didn't know about the rabies.)

I will try to remember to take a camera tomorrow so you all can see her. She is the cutest freaking thing ever, I swear. (It's a good thing I'm getting better at not getting attached to my charges, because *covets*. I'd take a pup like her. I also want breed DNA on her--if she was mine, I'd be saving up for it.)

*jumps around and howls because I got a new job omg* For however long it lasts, of course. Whatever happens, it'll be money and another chance for me to work with a pup, which I so need. Even if I don't start out with a pup (at this point I'm so eager to get to the hiking/jogging parts of things, I want something a tad older--but they do grow fast so) it's still good experience. And if she's an excitable adult who I end up walking/looking after sometimes, at least I'll be able to teach her to be calmer with me from the start. Eeeeexcellent.
