actually I was not got into this band when they became very popular in russia. but then I fell in love with some of their songs in english. So now I admire tatu just becoz everybody knew the lyrics of their songs when I was in US this summer. It was like a piece of my country that I was missing about.

you can say: 'privet' and it means 'hi'. russians tell 'privet' when they know each other for a long time or they re young persons. in other cases it may be better to say 'zdravstvujte' (hello), it could be translated from russian as you wish strong health and good mood to other person.
usually we say : privet! kak dela!? = hi! how re you!?
