They're saying chance of thunderstorms tonight. Right.

I'm hoping to go out to see the Perseid comets storm around midnight, so naturally it will rain.

It hit 102 downtown. It wouldn't be so bad if the dew point wasn't so high. As it is, it feels like you need gills the instant you step outside.

I bet you'll have a great view up there. I've tried to watch it here in years past, but there're just too many lights.

We didn't see a thing. The storm that never reached here was coming from the NE where the Perseid meteors are supposed to show up. So we had a nice drive, bought a couple of corn dogs and a coke to share and went home.
