(no subject)
Thanks everyone. I love you all.
Something like this really makes one think about things. This has affected me in a weird way. I can still really drive, no problem. But when I watched "Cold Case" last night? The headlights coming straight at the screen made my pulse skyrocket (I don't think that's a spoiler to say that, eh?). And it wasn't even real. Why freak out when it ISN'T real, but be able to get behind the wheel and drive normally, no problem? Weird.
We got a Dodge Stratus as our rental. We were approved for 20 bucks a day by the insurance company for 5 days. Tomorrow the insurance adjuster is coming to look at the damage to Mom's car (as seen in the pics in my previous entry). We're also know a guy who's gonna find a new(er)car for us, hopefully.
I'm looking forward to seeing "Serenity" this week. Katey is driving up from Montgomery since I don't have the means to go back down there right now. Ah, Jayne. My nummy, nummy Jayne. To go with my nummy, nummy House. And nummy nummy Wilson.
Now for the mundane news. I've had a tooth pulled. It was broken, and I hid my head in the sand about it, so to speak. But suddenly the dentist doesn't seem so scary now. At least, I'm pretty sure I'll survive it. *rueful grin*
I've taken this semester off from school, too. (Not due to this...this is a whole other thing.)
