Wiiiiiii!
So I realize that pretty much everyone else has had one for years, but I received a Nintendo Wii as a birthday gift and so far I'm loving it. Metroid Prime 3 is an absolute joy to play. It's visually and musically brilliant and just so much damn fun.
I also took a look around the Virtual Console and WiiWare, and decided to download World of Goo. HOLY FUCK, this game is incredibly fun. It's one of those easy to learn, impossible to master puzzle games. It's so simple, but so challenging and addictive. And it doesn't hurt that it's cute as hell, while at the same time being visually creepy in a way. It's amazingly addictive. I played for three hours yesterday and didn't realize a single hour had passed by.
