Ahhh so exhausted!! Soo this was a light weekend of guard. Friday night was 7-11 (its usually only until 10), today was 9-2 (usually 10-8), and tomorrow we have off (usually 10-5). Tonight there's a DCI show in Allentown, Pa, so they gave us the night and tomorrow off. Even though we only had half of the rehearsal we usually do, I'm still completely beat. I don't understand how it still kicks the crap out of me every weekend. Oy it was hot today too, not fun. I know how you feel Adrianne with all the running around outside in the hot hot heat.

Tomorrow I have plans to hang out with Steve. He's done with his army stuff in the beginning of august, and this is the last time he'll visit home for a while.

What else, what else. Camp started this week. Wasn't the best week ever. I got bored with my crafts, there weren't a lot of kids, and I missed the staff meeting and got in a lot of trouble for that. Getting yelled at in front of the staff at 8 in the morning is not my idea of a good way to start the day. Oh well, life goes on. I'm still not used to getting up this early for camp. I've been going to bed at 10 all week, or taking a super long nap in the evenings. Mmmm naps.

We have a show next weekend in clifton, NJ and I'm really excited because a lot of my family will be there (Dad, robbie, gracie, gram, aunt nancy, uncle ken, and nancy's parents). I guess this show is typically bad for the Hurricanes, so I hope we can break that and look great. Or at least I hope I don't drop my rifle.

And ahhhh I get my Praxis II scores this week. They will be mailed out on the 10th, so I guess I'll have them by friday. I reallly hope I passed, because I don't want to pay for the test again. I'm rather confident that I did pass though, so that's good. Speaking of education, to get on the deans list this semester in the school of ed, you needed a 4.0. That's obnoxious because I take ridiculously hard math classes, where the elementary ed take 100 level easy classes. For example, elementary ed with a concentration in math don't even have to take calc. I mean I understand that they are never going to teach anything higher than algebra, but if you're going to have "math" in your degree, you should at least have to take a real math class. I know I hate the fact that I have to take analysis and abstract algebra because I will never teach them, or anything that I use in those classes, but still. Maybe I'm just cocky because I think the math part of my major is really challenging. Oh well. I mean I'm not gonna lie, the education classes are a joke, but not the math.

oy.
