Most hillarious misheard lyric in a long time. At Teresa’s karaoke birthday party tonight, someone sang Toto’s “Africa”, and the lyrics that came up on the screen (that all can see) were, honestly:

Like a leper above the Serengeti

Never mind the real lyrics are “Like Olympus” - I heard it as “Like a leopard” given the Africa theme… but this case ( Read more... )

Today I co-hosted Lindy on Sproul! And played DJ, photographer, and danced to my heart’s content - in short, I was in full multitask mode.

I built the playlist the night before - good thing too; making selections on the fly is hard. Heck, I still was changing the order every few songs or so.

In a weird mood, hanging out at the CSUA and acting as DJ (while playing with streaming music from my server).

I built an interesting playlist. Granted, it's non-optimal with respect to beat patterns and the like, but it's sill a weird playlist.
