Happy birthday, and I can so sympathise with the trike-on-roundabout incident. I recently cycled myself and Linnea around the roundabout where Rob braked with his elbows a few weeks ago, and I can quite, quite see how he did it. Ick. Horribly easy. He's recovering, but his trousers never will.

I read Liquor - but I much preferred her horror stories (and normally I don't even like horror very much). I reread Drawing Blood multiple times, and even Exquisite Corpse, which I could not put down despite how scary it was (and close to home in a way).
