Just Fabulous...
Wouldn't you know it that this morning I am to be woken by a loud crash from a lightning strike really, really close to the apartment. Now normally I would be able to go back to sleep with no problem after this except that today is the Monday that we come back from a LONG weekend and God decides that I should definitely be getting up.
So the Fire alarm in the apartment complex proceeds to go off.
Sonofabitch.
It is nasty and rainy outside and seeing as how I don't smell any smoke or anything, I am refusing to leave my dry, warm apartment. They can come and get me if it is that freakin' important.
For the love of God! Make it stop!

At least I'm completely awake now, and dressed, and ready to leave for school...which I don't have to do for another hour....
I hope they get it fixed by then....
