Natalya's Head Drilling.
Tomorrow morning I will be admitted to hospital in Manchester at 07:30 for the day to have my second Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) implant surgery - aka HeadDrilling(tm).
For those who don't know what the surgery entails check out http://www.entific.com/aboutBahaMore.asp . The hole they drill into my mastoid bone behind my ear is only 3-5mm deep.
We're just about to go to my mum's as she lives closer to the hospital so we don't have to get up quite so early. I should be out of hospital tomorrow afternoon, and home again by the evening - all going well.
