Who: King and Dauragon
Warnings: Hospital, anger..blue balls that would make Gan cringe then point and laugh.

The woman dragged her spouse to the diner, placing him on the couch..getting smelling salts, liquids and ordering the girls to start cooking. Sure, she was worried about him..but in a way...she felt he had it coming.

He laid there unmoving seemingly completely devoid of life after he had fainted outside.

She soon was sitting under him, using her lap to prop his head up. King then waved the salt vial under her lover's nose.

It got no reaction whatsoever, his breathing was so very light one might even consider him dead.

She had one of the girls call a hospital transport to come get him. Meanwhile, she stayed with him, quietly petting his hair. She had seen him 'die' several times before. While it bothered her everytime..it wasn't too much of a psyche crasher anymore.

The medics soon arrived, carting the unconcious man off..taking the quiet woman with them..for paperwork.

-Cutting to about 2 hours later-

She sat in a chair next to Daur's hospital bed, several transfusion bags suspended over him as they restored the life back into his body. .oO"Great. Now he's going to want to get rid of everything human about himself...For the love of..no. Don't get yourself worked up over this. Remember what you saw.."Oo.

He laid there unconcious still, and completely vulnerable. Even though he tried to hard to make himself immune to all things mortal and make himself a god it didn't work. He was still human after all..

Leaning her face against the bed railing, she decided to tell him the things that had been on her mind. "I know you think of me as too sensitive and selfish, but you know..I've always had this dream..ever since I was a young woman..I've always wanted to settle down with a man who finally understood and respected me for who and what I was..one who loved and had eyes for only me. Someday, we would start a family..and our children would be raised with a better chance at life than I had. I thought that was finally going to happen.." She gently stroked his cheek. "I'm sorry things have turned this way..but I really would like..more than anything in existance..to try and do things right with you. I'm sorry if I don't agree with hurting people unless they deserve it..but pain only brings more pain..and it never ends that way..."

His face was strangely emotionless and not filled with his usual contempt for humanity. It was unknown if he heard her or not in this state of being.

Even if he wasn't able to hear her..these were things she had kept bottled in for a long, long time. Even just getting them out of her head would help. "I don't know why I fell in love with you..people told me what you've done in the past and I didn't listen to them..all because of wanting to be by your side. I curse myself everyday for not being able to tell you that it's over..that this will be the last time I cry because of you.. I know I'm not Dominique..or your mother, but I would like to give you a love that they cannot. Even though I think that you've been stubborn, megalomaniacal and callously cold lately..I'm sure there's a reason for it..and I know that can't really be you..because I've seen what you can be when you actually give a damn about this relationship."
