I've just been sitting around thinking all day because i've had nothing else better to do, and I suddenly came across good memories from when I was a kid. I have so many good memories, but it's hard to choose which are my favorites. But my fondest ones are probably sitting in my living room with my brother, coloring with our crayons and our coloring books in the living room, going to "Circle K" in every sunny morning buying cream soda slurpees and those "Choclair" chocolate bars they don't make anymore, that came in 2 halves, and i'd always give half to my mom. lol. Playing in "the club", making obstacle courses and doing cartwheels, which was this HUGE building downtown on Higgins, but we had it ALL to ourselves, until it got knocked down because it had no use..and going to the "Savoy Hotel", which was also knocked down, on the corner or Higgins lol and i used to play in the rundown restaurant with my brother and we'd throw our glasses of milk into the fan and it permanently stained the restaurant chairs LoL. I really miss that place...it was so gross and rundown but I practically grew up in that building..I remember sitting in "the office" all the time, me and my brother would spit our gum on the walls and see how long they could stay on there...LOL...we called them "remembers"...(we were just young stupid kids)..AWWW and I REALLY miss walking to Main Meats with my dad, buying candy..and saying hi to the muslim people who worked there..wow, lots of my best memories as a kid were on main street Lol. And I loved when my mom would drop off our trailer at this Jon guy's place to leave it there for the winter, and me and my brother would play at the park when we went there. And I miss going to West Hawk Lake with my dad and renting that crazy boat that didn't even look like a boat...it was like a motorized piece of land Lol. Wow..OH and I REALLY miss going to Haki's house every sunday....buying groceries in the morning, spending the entire day at his house swimming, then bearing the long car ride on the way home in the evening still wearing our bathing suits, all sunburned..then we'd stop at Super Boy's ice cream place, or Sub Zero. Going to auntie Kim's in Tulon having yard sales. I also miss going to the waterslides. It used to be so much fun when i was little, but now it's just like, blah, u know? I loved grade 1 so much. I miss having my mom pack my lunches and i miss how everyone used to get along back in the day. Oh well..one day i'll be missing today as much as i'm missing the past right now. So i'll just be happy where i'm at right now..even though it's not that great.
