Well
I gave up the project today. Guy said I was reshashing what he'd made notes of. I thought that was good considering I couldn't get half the sourcebooks and he took five of the source he lent to me originally. Long story short- wasn't what he was looking for and I handed him back his materials. End of that. Out of a nice project fee, but there's a good reason for it, I am sure. Something better will turn up.
Since TV Land is having an 80's movie weekend, I ended up watching 'Flashdance', 'Say Anything' (fave for years) and the last twenty or so minutes of 'Footloose'. Yeah, my heart stil belongs in the 80's since you asked.....
Meantime, I am once again stuck on 'Torchwood' Season One- I watched 5 eppys tonight, including the one about the disappearances in the village (yeah, that one, frackattack), which was suitably creepy as all hell. But good nonetheless. Lot of blood and gore in that one too. I have to give the writers of this show overall props for some interesting plotlines! (Let's just say Toshi *finally* gets some attention.....)
Oh and John Barrowman, doing a Southern accent in one eppy? ILLEGAL. ILLEGAL. On so many levels. I adore him. And I am falling in serious like/lust with Ianto. It's just so delish a man seemingly reserved but with that ACCENT who even looks good in jeans.... and people wonder why I applied to school in the UK! I might snog the first Welshman I hear. :)
Probably turn in now- I am kinda tired for whatever reason and could actually stand to get some sleep, methinks.
