(no subject)
Not much to report. I've been busy. The nieces are in town and I have been busy trying to keep them amused. We took them to Disney last week, and I got a nasty case of sunstroke and two bouts of major stomach upset for my trouble. (Ugh.) Had a very very nice place to stay, however, no thanks to Dad (of course).
My sleeping patterns are all fucked up. I am highly grumpy. And tired. (Though that probably has more to do with an 8 hour Clerk certification course I had to take today at Elections.)
Wnt to the library last night and got some good reads- I am moving at a good clip through Rutger Hauer's memoirs, 'All Those Moments', which are more entertaining than I expected them to be. He's quite a character, and one of my favorite actors (I have crushed on him since 'Nighthawks').
Mom got another bout of food poisoning from some fish she ate. So of course Dad is bugging her every 10 minutes about it when really she just need some sleep and rest. Of course if he HELPED around the house she wouldn't *be* wiped out half the freaking time. And people wonder why I am not married- no thank you, I value my sanity.
Oh, and today is my birthday. Whoopie-doo.
