We don't have a tree yet. I might get one for us tomorrow. I have money this year, so why not? Those those buggers are getting steeper in price with every passing year.
I worked all weekend. Serious ass hours, too. I was so exhausted last night I just came home, showered and watched telly till I fell asleep (which wasn't long). It's noy fault we have comfy sofas at home. Anyways.....We don't need extended hours at work- we have them in place already. Do you know someone has already asked if we're gonna be open late on XMas Eve? Are they on *crack*? Please. We will wanna get up outta there even more than they will. Besides, I have a holiday party to go to after work, I ain't trying to trip and wait on no damn last minute customers. Me? I plan to do my shopping next week, during our appreciation week at work. More discounts, don't ya know.
Oh and even though I set my alarm, I overslept today. LOL Lucky I wasn't working with the head SM on my shift. But I was only 20 minutes late, so it wasn't like I was THAT late. I was just tired from 6 straight days of work. And since you asked, yes, I DO have tomorrow off. Or else someone would have to die a slow lingering death.
The 'rents are still doing well. Mom is still not quite acting right, but bad habits can't be broken overnight, and Pops is staying on her. There is more post-Turkey Day drama going on, but nothing worth me getting stressed over, and it's still all the usual suspects. Beside, when it's this time of the year, everything else kinda takes a backseat. Plus I have a new motto- I am getting TOO old for this *shit*. I think it will be my 2007 mantra, too.
What else to say? Oh that person who pissed me off last week has yet to peep another word to me. It's all good, I knew she was all noise. I promise you I am not a mean person.....:) But I might kill if I have to hear that damn Il Divo cd one more damn time.
Gee...I guess that's all that's happening in my life. Got some money, checkbook's balanced. All is doing okay for now. But like the weather, subject to change. :)
