1. avenged sevenfold:
   This is all frackattack's fault for getting me hooked on these O.C. bad boys. Raunchy, tattooed, ghetto as all hell and quotable beyond measure. The 21st century Crue!
2. buffy:
   As in the vampire slayer. I was/am a huge fan of the show. I read fan fic (though never wrote any), watch the show in re-runs and still have the most unhealthy crush on Spike.
3. eerie queerie:
   A romantic/fantasy manga. A slight pretty boy who can see ghosts, his hot ambisexual schoolmate, another fence-straddling friend, a lecherous temple priest and a ghost bound to a temple that the priest likes to dress up....trust me, it is some funny stuff.
4. h.i.m.:
   Two words- Ville Valo. Plus it doesn't hurt that I love the music and his voice. If I ever see him live, you will have to pry me from his leg.
5. japan (group):
   This is amusing. I am currently the owner of almost all of thier available catalog, thanks to the system at work. I have developed an addiction to David Sylvian's voice. And my LORD, he and his brother were too damn pretty for their own good during the group's heyday. I woulda sandwiched them, no worries there. In other words- I adore them. :)
6. led zeppelin:
   I loved Robert Plant from the first time I saw him. The music is pretty much white boys playing the blues, but it's still damn good stuff. The first two albums, '4 Symbols' and 'Physical Graffitti' are still my faves.
7. pink floyd:
   Mostly the art-house/prog rock tendencies in me for this choice. But there are parts of thier early works that I really love. 'Welcome to the Machine' is actually one of my all time faves by them, along with 'Run Like Hell' (the 'Pulse' verison), 'Dogs of War' and 'Have a Cigar.'
8. sisters of mercy:
   This one goes way back to around 9th grade, if my numbers are correct. Very Gawth, very dark in places, and I love it. I saw them live on tour with Public Enemy on the 'Vision Thing' tour.
9. the crow:
   I have seen this movie at least a dozen times. I dressed like Eric Draven on three instances for Halloween. I was in love with the soundtrack for months, and never really got over Brandon Lee's death while making the movie. But it's still a wonderful graphic novel and film and holds up well.
10. traveling:
    I want to do more of this. I haven't been to Europe yet, and I also want to to go Japan and Australia. I feel complete when find out new things in new cities. I think I should have been a photographer for 'National Geographic'. :)
