[The video shows China hanging around the Latimir area.]

Does anyone know for sure if the science lab at the school still has chemicals that can be used?

I need saltpeter, pure sulfur, and carbon, aru. Oh, and silkworms! Where can I find silkworms on this planet?

silkworms get, where: discedo, chemistry, let's make gundpowder

...You're intending to create gunpowder?

Yes, I told Denmark that I would try making some fireworks, aru.

However, I was reminded by Heiji that the fireworks may draw the attention of monsters towards me.

He has a reasonable point.

I know he does. I'm beginning to wonder if I should put booby traps to protect myself when I am launching the fireworks, aru. If they fail to injure them, then at least they can be distracted, giving me enough time to land some blows of my own.

On the other hand... I do not want an innocent person triggering the traps by accident, aru.

Is it completely necessary to launch these fireworks?

I could always make smaller ones that do not have to be launched into the air, but... if it threatens the safety of others, then I will just keep my word on making Chinese cuisine, aru.

Food is always good.

Chinese food? ...I haven't eaten that in years.

Really? Then you are in for a treat, Commander. If I can get the right ingredients that is, aru.

Perhaps I will visit Dissimulo to find the vegetables.

[He did grow some of them during his stay there after all.]

And you're doing all this for Denmark's party on the 28th?

I did say I would help with the food. If I cannot do fireworks, then I can at least bring some food, aru. Besides, it has been too long since the last time I attended a party.

Not only that, but I could gather some vegetables for my family, my room mates, and myself to eat. It seems much more healthier, aru.

I usually don't attend parties.

[...] It is healthier.

Any particular reason why, or do you just dislike large crowds?

Healthy food makes a healthy body, aru! That was one of the reasons I stayed in Dissimulo for so long. I wonder if I can grow anything here, although... the acid rain probably ruined the soil, aru.

I don't see the purpose in having parties when there are important issues to focus on instead.

There's a greenhouse in Discedo.

I can understand that, being a soldier myself and fighting a war back home, aru. However, I tend to try and keep my hopes up, maybe even be a bit upbeat. I know that is not a realistic approach to most people, but it is part of my personality as a person. [He could definitely be serious, especially if he needed to be, but he was not much of the angsty-type.]

Is there? Where? Or is it on the map, aru?

...Hm. [Perhaps he should go... but just to ensure everyone's safety.]

It's located on the roof of the high school.

Oh, perfect, I was planning to search there for the chemicals anyway, aru.

I wonder, if I could somehow make some rice paddies here like I said earlier. I could grow the seedlings in the greenhouse, but then I would have to transplant them to a bigger area, aru.
