China is sitting cross legged on the floor near a table, where there's a cup of green tea and a plate with of some type of meat on it. There's a pair of chopsticks lying near the bowl

That's a good point, aru. After all, we don't even know what's in that old prison. Although, rice paddies would still be useful, wouldn't they?

[He smiles and rubs the back of his neck sheepishly.]

I tend to get carried away when it comes to building another Chinatown, aru. I've built so many in the past and they've all been successful so far.

There might be something useful in there though. Supplies, maybe, even though it looks like there hasn't been anyone there for a while now..

You're.. an expert in building Chinatowns or something?

Or weapons. If it hasn't been hit too badly by bandits then there's probably a few things still left inside, aru. On the other hand, it's also possible that some monsters moved in.

[China continues to smile sheepishly.]

Ahaha... sort of, aru. I've had experience with building things and farming too! The only place where the Chinatowns haven't done so well is in Korea... [Why? He doesn't know.]

Even if there are monsters, it should be possible to take care of them.. The cougars on the way here and the monsters back in Discedo were a pain, but it was possible to kill them if necessary. ... And I think getting new supplies or weapons is a pretty good reason to bother getting past a few monsters.

I'm not saying that I'm against going into the prison, I'm very curious about it myself, aru. Besides, danger is no stranger to me. [Neither is death.] It enjoys following soldiers around the most, probably.

I think most people are used to danger here.. especially after a stay here, huh? Monsters aren't quite uncommon, or other sorts of disasters like that bomb.

We should have seen something like that coming. I mean, there are just monsters and animals all over the place here.

This is the first time I've seen such a bomb with power like that, aru. I heard from some that it's called an... atom bomb?

I guess we were all too busy trying to get as far away from Discedo as possible at the time. One good thing from all this is that we have plenty of meat and it keeps everyone alert... At least, I would hope it keeps people alert, aru...

[This brings up a question.]

Yes, it's an atom bomb.. You must have been pulled from a time before it was invented, or maybe a world where it wasn't invented at all.. It's been used at least once back home.

[ At that question she pauses for just a slight moment, a beat. ]

... Yeah. I've been more or less constantly in danger back home, so I don't mind it here all that much in that sense.

I've heard about it from people that come from the same world as me, aru. I was told that I would see for myself what it can do in a few more years. [This gave him a morbid curiosity about this new type of bomb.]
