My 7-year-old cousin Kami was diagnosed with cancer a little over a year ago. It started as an upper back pain and turned out to be a malignant tumor in her spinal chord. She died last Thursday (April 22).
My aunt and uncle started a website to garner support for Kami at Nguyenchildren.com. It outlines the family's entire experience. Sort of hurts to read.
Anyway, the reason I'm posting this is because of a feature on Nguyenchildren.com called Gifts by Gina. Gina is Kami's older sister, and this site features the artwork she made to cope with Kami's illness. The site also includes products with Gina's art that can be purchased. The proceeds go toward surgery, chemo, and memorial bills the family is still paying off.
