Job, Money, Yay!
So, on Monday Rob had a job interview with a wireless internet company which is amazingly based in our small town. The interview went very well but was very short because the guy needed to leave. However, Rob did learn a lot of stuff about the job. They hire as a contract for the first 4-8 weeks and so long as Rob does a good job then they would hire permament. Starting pay is only $8.50 which is a little low for Rob, but the money saved on gas money makes it worthwhile. They need him for a bunch of stuff, computer things mostly, some installation (I think), and some antenna work. Rob loves antennas - I swear every week he wants to build a new one here at the house.
All in all the job sounded good for Rob and definitely one he would like to have - so the wait came. They said the would call Monday night or Tuesday. No such luck. Tuesday Rob emailed them - no reply. Wednesday Rob called and left a message - still nothing. Then, like 15 minutes ago, they called and asked him to come over in an hour. They didnt say why he was coming over but I am sure its for a good thing. Hopefully he will come home with a job :)
In other news, me and Rob will be working at the Gilroy Garlic Festival tomorrow for something like 11 hours. I dont suppose anyone is planning on going...?
