Grrr... ran over a curb... slipped really... smashed in my oil pan... I guess I probably could of gotten away welding the oil pan but there could be chunks metal in my oil pan... that would be bad.

So the learning part of me thought... Yeah!!! I should fix it myself!!!

I bought an engine lift b/c I have to lift my engine like 2". There are like 28 bolts on the oil pan and the clutch inspection plate (there are a total of 8 bolts on the bellhousing and the engine block, watch out those brackets will fall on you!!!!) the front sway bar is in the way to remove the oil pan so that has to be removed. The mounts that hold the engine into the cross member has bolts that need to be removed. Then you have to lift the engine remove the old oil pan. Then making sure to clean off the engine block where the oil pan goes back, acetone to clean and remove the old sealant.

I removed the oil pan from the junkyard and learned how to put it back onto my car. YaY!!!!
A few hours of pain for a life time of knowledge... I think well worth it.

The engine lift was soooo hard to put together. I think it took me like 3hrs to put it together... *sigh* That is why I will be without a car for a few more days... Have to work all day tomorrow so TUES. will be the day when it all gets done. *crosses fingers*

Turned on the tv. PBS... snow leopards...

It would of been done already but my friend Travis stops buy in a JEEP Wrangler and is like lets go 4 wheeling... and since I don't have a 4x4, I gave in and went off roading w/him. It was lots of fun until we got stuck on a rock... like we were teeter-tottering off this rock almost. Luckily, my neighbor and his friends come rolling around in their trucks and they saved us with shovels. YaY!!!! I was getting scared for a minute b/c it was starting to get dark. We were stuck for like an hour until we got the Jeep out. *PheW*

I wish it was warmer so I wouldn't be all frozen when I am working outside. I guess it is wintertime... shikatanai.
