Coach-fellow --
--A horse employed to draw in the same carriage with another. Hence, metaphorically, a person intimately connected with another, generally applied to people in low life.
-- James Halliwell's Dictionary of Archaic and Provincial Words, 1855
Hmm, so it only applies to people that are almost dead? That need to recharge or find a mushroom?
So, I was driving into work this morning, as I tend to do, and I saw the sunlight streaming through the clouds over downtown. They were coming down in bars of light that were delineated by the slight fog, and I was reminded of when I was a kid. I was convinced that those streams of light were the escalators that the souls of the dead took up to Heaven, and that after they died they had to hang around waiting for God to send the bars of light to their area so they could come up. I also thought that if I could find one I would be able to get up there and visit all of my pets that had gone to Heaven.
Weird huh....
So, I have a question for anyone that watches Dr. Who and also watches Sanctuary. Last Friday they showed Part 1 of the season finale (Kali) and I am utterly convinced that the guy that is playing the bad guy is David Tennant. Cris, on the other hand, insists that it's just some guy that kind of looks and sounds like him. Can anyone settle this for me? I've looked around for a cast list for the episode, but that character isn't listed anywhere.
Modeled last night for one of the owners of a shop called Transistor. It was a neat little place that apparently runs a radio broadcast on Sundays. The music that was for sale in the place was amazing, and I had to forcibly remind myself that I was there to make money, not spend it. There were some pretty cool t-shirts too. *sigh*
