Ok, so props to Jerrod for indirectly introducing me to a new favorite band: Fall Out Boy. Yeah, I like them.
Moving on: So, everyone's back at school. And it's good. I was a little aprehensive about everyone coming back because we'd had so much fun just us little short coursers... but now that we're in the full swing of things, I'm so glad everyone's here. Espicially Sarah Tunstall. I was sweatin' it when I was reading your journal entries. But you're here. And you complete me.
Not much has been goin on round here. We all hang out, catch up on christmas stories, and chill. That's it. Lot's of chillin'. And movie watchin'. And Jerrod and I had a misunderstanding. But I'm sure that'll all get worked out in the next few days or so. It's all good.
However, it did get me to thinking about myself and I realized... I dont think I've ever had a real conversation with a person of the male persuasion. Really. You think I'm kidding... I'm not. Amanda, you can answer this: how much ACTUAL conversation do you think me and Travis had? Lemme tell you: none. We would make fun of each other, we would make fun of other people, we would use innuendos (envendos for ST), and I think one time we talked about music. That's it. No more. The way that I talk to guys is to casually (jokingly, no doubt) make fun of them. Amanda: How many times have we told Matt Hale and Stu that they were SO gay?? Hundreds... and granted, sometimes they really did act gay (as in stupid or idiotically).
That's the other thing. The word "gay" has so many meanings these days. It could mean "stupid" "terrible" "sucks" "weird" etc. Fill in your own meaning. It doesnt always mean "homosexual." I promise.
And, I'm starting to get a little apprehensive about apologizing to him. Last time I apologized to someone and a boy was envolved, he made so much fun of me (and he wasnt joking) and made me feel like an inch tall. To this day he is still blocked from my buddies list. I think he went into a chat room one day and gave out my phone number to a bunch of horny guys... total jerk. He doesnt even deserve the name "jerk." And he doesn't deserve my good lj space. That's why I'm moving on.
So, if you're a boy (or maybe perhaps a girl) and I've made fun of you and you have been offended, please dont take it personally... I really dont mean it. It's my way of saying "I love you."
