[ The images are at first a little jumpy; a sphere has turned on just as someone has snatched it out of the air. An unfamiliar face looms, looking at it, tinkering a little, determining whether or not it's a threat. Then the image moves crazily as Jack Harkness stands and takes in his surroundings, tossing the poor object absently up and down until it manages to get away.
If the little machines could stare accusingly... but that's not visible on the screen. Instead, the sphere does its job and pans over the Captain. Already the strange chill of paranoia in the air is visible in his guarded stance, his crossed arms and tight lips. He's staring at the wreckage of the Crucible. But he isn't panicking. Yet. ]
We're not in Cardiff anymore, huh, Toto? [ He glances at the sphere, into the camera, and begins to pace, his hand going the officer's pistol at his belt. ] Pretty sure we're a good few light years away from Earth, actually. I've woken up in some strange places over the years, but this beats 'em all.
