For the first time in YEEEEEEEEARS I actually updated my user pictures. My new picture says "Grr".
I might actually buy a baby sling today. I've been looking around online and I think I found one that I just cant live without. It's adjustable and I can pick from a few nifty fabrics. I've been dying to get a baby sling for some time now. Lugging Gary around in his car seat to doctors appointments just isnt cutting it. My incision site says "NOOOOOOO!" everytime I pick him up in that damn heavy thing. Of course I have to do just that when I'm going to the doctor by myself... A sling would be so much better. That and I could carry him around the house durring the day when I'm doing house hold crap like dishes. Anything that would make carrying him a hands-free event would be wonderful. So yeah, I think I'll do that before the end of the day.... I'm just stuck on the $45 price tag... :/
On a side note, are there any moms and dads out there that have useful words of wisdom on seperation anxiety? for me? I know I HAVE to go back to work... but how the hell do I leave my baby for six hours a night, five nights a week? I'm just DYING over it. Hell, the baby sleeps in his own little section of my bed at night because (when my hormones are going crazy late at night) his cradle just seems "too far away". What the hell am I supposed to do when I go back to working third shift? any shift?! Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
