Filch is so mean! He caught me outside my dorm after curfew, so he gave me a Detention. I had to read a whole list of tongue twisters three times fast- in English! And he picked really hard ones! Ones he knew I couldn't say because my English isn't very good. And I couldn't leave until I read all of them, so it took me four and a half hours.
I was really angry- Larry said I was letting some of my magic out. He was really nice, though. He said I should do something to get Filch back. But I'm not good at those ideas, really. Then we went down to the kitchens to get hot chocolate and marshmallows. Larry showed me a new hidden passage. I'm learning lots about the castle already.
I'm doing okay in my classes, too. I am getting really good grades in Charms. But we have a new potions master. I know who it is. I don't want to see him. I am already having a very bad week.
