Happy birthday to Gekko, my youngest son- and a belated 24th birthday to my eldest, Satoru.
I expect a quiet evening at home this Valentines day. It should be nice. Next year, perhaps, we could take a trip- I've wanted to travel for years, but I've never left the country for more than a day. Well- I suppose I'll be waiting for a phone call later in the evening that I'll be looking forward to.
Three months until my 40th birthday... it makes me think of all I've accomplished, I suppose. I am certainly in a different place today than I ever thought I would be as a child. Being with Megumi has changed my life completely.
My 40th birthday party will have a longer guest list than I ever imagined possible. It's wonderful to have such a big family.
