The maximum number of hops that EIGRP will accept is 100 by default, although the maximum can be configured to 220 with metric maximum hops. Или 224? Или 255? Нипаняятна.

Однако IOS говорит:
(config-router)#metric maximum-hops ?
<1-255> Hop count

Кого б спросить, чтоб точно знал?..
