small update
well well well...i have had a GREAT few weeks....first of all I went to the free show of the SF cast of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at Amoebas on the Haight it was GREAT they did most of the songs then John Cameron Mitchell came out and signed stuff for all of us...he is so sweet and so tiny lol he looks 6 ft tall in the movie! Kevin Cahoon (one of Johns original understudies from the off broadway original cast) is portrayin Hedwig in the SF cast. He is sooo beautiful as Hedwig and does a wonderful job. A friend Selena knows one of the sound guys named Mike who gave us 4th row center comp tix to the show last week.
all i have to say is I LOVED IT....almost better than the movie. When i got ready to go that night i spent a couple of hours mimicking Hedwigs makeup and not too bad i might add. During the performance Brian kept telling me that Hedwig was singing and pointing at me etc. i didnt think so until after the performance and I talked to Kevin and he told me he loved my makeup and hair (THANX AGAIN DIVA) and he asked if i noticed he was singing to me most of the time...I felt soooooooooooooooooo special...and he told me where to sit next time for the sugar daddy car wash :) he promised if i came back and sat there i would definately get it I cant wait to go back!
Then just this last friday John Waters did a gala/meet and greet at the castro theatre in SF...but it was like 75 bucks a ticket and so near the holidaze it wasnt happenin. So me and Aaron and Brian decided to go wait outside the theatre for him to leave. Well we got there and it was an intermission...so we just walked right in...no one noticed or said anything. we walked around the theatre a bit and to the upstairs area and low and behold there stood the king of bad taste himself. We got a ton of shit signed and drank some free perrier and ate some munchies! I was stoked to get my mondo trasho signed (which he mentioned will NEVER be released agin due to copyright issues with the music) and my copy of pink flamingos which was signed by Mink Stole 2 years ago. yay. It was so funny to me that we crashed a 75$ gala and got our shit signed for free hehehehe...John would be proud!
other than those exciting things....all i have to say is BAH HUMBUG! and i miss everyone! oh yeah I almost forgot.....
