Marathon

My goodness I will never fall behind on my LJ flist reading again!! I just read from 120 entries back and it's taken me about 2 hours. AND I didn't even make any comments.

I know I've not been on much lately and I haven't commented for AGES but that is going to change now! It's taken a while but we're all sorted out with computers and internet connection and everything now, so I should be able to check at least once every 2 days or so.

So anyway we haven't done much lately. On the long weekend Chris had to work Sat, so my aunt Elaine came down the hill from Collie and we had lunch and went to the movies together. My cousin and his friend came too but while they went to see Norbit, Elaine and I went to see Miss Potter, which we really enjoyed. Renee Zellweger was really good in that, although for the first 10 mins or so I kept thinking of her as Bridget instead of Beatrix, lol.

Then that evening Chris and I went out for dinner and then just watched a movie at home or something, can't remember now. Sunday we went to church for the first time since moving here. It was just around the corner and everyone was really friendly and welcoming. We're going back at least 3 more times before we decide if its the right place or not. Sunday arvo was hot so we lazed around the house watching Friends and eating popcorn, something we do a lot. After dinner he went online while I watched Grey's Anatomy.

Monday his parents came past on the way back home from Margaret River and we had lunch together. The place we went is called Buck's Diner and does pretty good dinerish food. I had gone there on Sat with Elaine and both times I got a vegie burger meal which is really good value. You get this really nice vegie burger, heaps of chips, a can drink and heaps of salad for $8. They have all these different burger recipes as well plus other healthy salads and seafood.

So we had a nice lunch and Chris's parents saw our house and our wedding photos. They left and we spent the rest of the day watching Friends and later went to the beach, which was beautiful, except now 2 days later I have had the worst earache from water in my ear. We watched a movie Mon night called Chaos which was a heist movie and pretty good with a twist at the end.

Tonight he's working until 8 so it's going to be an easy dinner: grilled pork chops for him and lots of vegies for us both. I am NOT missing half of Heroes again because I decided to do something fancy which took longer than I expected and was added to with a power failure (which is what happened last week). lol
