Gosh it's nearly July already!
Chris asked me the other day, "What do you want for your birthday?" I hadn't realised it was creeping up on me so suddenly. Here I was thinking it was in a months time but no, actually it's in 2 weeks today!
Not only that, but yesterday I was talking to my student and I told him I wouldn't be able to come and do his lesson in the last week of term because I'd be on the plane to Tasmania on the day that I do his lesson... then I realised, that was exactly 2 weeks time.
Yes, I'll be spending Thursday the 5th with my husband on a plane and heading for the cooold that is Tasmania. We're going because I have a work conference there and they subsidise airfares and the conference fee. So Chris and I are both going so that we can spend a week sightseeing in Tassie afterwards. Friday the 6th we'll be all settled and I'll begin the conference... on my birthday! It better not be boring hehe.
That goes until Sunday, then we're staying in Hobart for another 2 days to look at Port Arthur and the Cadbury factory and then we'll head over to the west of Tassie to see Strahan and go on the river cruise there. From there we'll head to Cradle Mountain (somewhere I've always wanted to go... YAY!)and then back over to the east side to Launceston, where we'll fly from back to Perth via Melbourne.
13 days to go!!! :D
