Grrrr and YAY!
Well I just wasted a whole load of time. I was searching for Doctor Who layouts for MySpace and couldn't find any! There are PLENTY on Livejournal, but none for MySpace. Proves that LJ is waaaaaaaay better (in my books). So my Myspace remains boring and un-laid-out.
Anyway I haven't really updated here much lately. I just find there's not much to say. Yes, I've been to work, come home, etc... nothing exciting. This weekend Chris and I are going to blitz the garden, cause the weeds are getting out of hand. Yay fun. Then on Sunday my aunt and cousins are coming down the hill from Collie and we're going out for lunch and bowling. At least THAT will be fun.
But the most fun thing I think will be next week when Chris and I drive up to Perth for less than 24 hours to see.... Dylan Moran! That's the guy in my userpic. He's an Irish comedian from the show Black Books (the FUNNIEST show!). Yay! Can't wait. We've had tickets for about 2 months now and have been looking forward to it for ages. It's gonna be great. We're driving down as soon as I finish work on Tuesday, having dinner out and then going to his show at the Burswood. Then we're going straight home to bed and getting up at 5:30 to leave by 6 so that I can get to work by 9. Phew! Then I have my most full-on day of the week, Wednesday. But since I had last Wednesday off and I get to see Dylan Moran, I figure it's gotta be worth it.
Then.... something excellent happened today. I booked in to a conference in July in Tasmania for work. Which means I'll go and then Chris will come a few days later and we can go explore Tassie in the school holidays! Yay!! Only thing is, it'll be freezing cause it's the middle of winter. But hey, we may get to play in the snow! There are not many times when you get to do that in Australia. We just have to book flights, accommodation and transport now. YAY a real holiday! :D
