Since no one else voted during the extension, my dog broke the ties.

Voting Commentary
01 - i really love the combination of the colors and the font chosen for the text
02 - The simple text treatment and use of negative space balances nicely with the icon, without detracting.
04 - nice combination of colors and simplicity of the whole banner, love the fonts.
04 - I really love the overall look of this banner. The text looks nice and clean, the orange is very original and looks awesome with the purples in the icon.
04 - I like the simplicity of the design and the contrast of the text.
05 - The colors in this banner go great with the icon, I like the bold text.
05 - I really like the dark colors and purples in this, while still being textured. It blends well with the colors in the icon, and the text is easy to read, and the composition of the text itself is different and exciting.
06 - The texture for the banner is very eye catching while still appearing to match with the background from the original icon. Works very well with the typography, which is well spaced and arranged. Might be a little better if the placements weren't divided mid-line, but for the spacing in the banner, it works nicely.

07 - I like how even with the image matching, the icon's border is clear, and the red texture has just enough interest down at the bottom to compliment the icon.
08 - Strong use of texture, fonts and colours to create visual interest while still complimenting the icon itself.

09 - Interesting texture use for the banner portion. Nice color continuation overall. I like how easy it is to read the text for the win info. Would be nice if the second placement (best show of emotion) was on one line rather than divided, but otherwise good overall spacing and typography.
09 - Textures & color match up well. I think this banner could have worked better with the icon on the right instead of the left because of its crop.
Other Commentary
01 - I like the gradient, and overall the composition looks very good. I think the drop shadow behind the text is a bit distracting. I would suggest either making it purple so it blends better, or using a lighter color for the text so you don't need the shadow behind.
03 - Nice job fitting the image and the icon together! I can't say I love the way the text is placed... it feels a bit disjointed, so I'd try to rearrange the composition a bit, but otherwise the banner looks very nice.
