Voting Commentary
01 - I like how similar the colouring of the banner is to the icon, plus the text that's easy to read at a glance.
01 - I liked that you kept the banner seemingly simple. Nice choice repeating the image, and nice, clean text!
02 - Nice use of coloring and design for the background on the banner. The typography could be a little easier to read, but that's just the font choice. Otherwise it's well placed and organized.
02 - Although the font is a little hard to read, I like the interesting background and use of colors. It doesn't focus your attention away from the icon either.
02 - I like the background used - it's complimentary without competing with the icon.
04 - I like how you gave the illusion of continuing the image even though it doesn't match up exactly!
04 - The banner matches well enough and the font looks nice and bold. Very easy to read.
05 - The drop shadow effect works well here. The textures worked really well, and the colors matched beautifully.
07 - I really like the clean composition. The choices in color look wonderful with the icon's coloration as well.

01 - I love how well the colors match up with the icon, and the text looks wonderful the way you have it placed~
02 - I really like the subtle use of texture, but the font choice makes the text a bit hard to read.
03 - Interesting how the placement text seems to flow with the hair pattern - a good simple background for the banner.The "best color" especially stands out with it's rainbow coloring. Clear typography, and the original icon stands out from the rest. The down side is that it has the wrong week number.
03 - The way the text is placed on this banner seems to be really random. It makes it very difficult to read, or even know what to read first. Think about the composition. How the text needs to be placed in order to make the banner easy to read, as well as be beautiful. That being said, I really to like the way you have the icon placed on the banner portion, and the lightness really helps the icon pop.
04 - I totally get where you were going with this, but the dark lines make the text really hard to read.
05 - I love the grungy look with the reds and purples from the icon, however I think perhaps the text should have been darker, or maybe you should have sperad the color through more of the banner portion, so the text would be surrounded by darker colors. It's really hard to read the text across the white portions.
05 - Love the coloring for the banner portion. However the text appears to blend in to the background making it difficult to read. Perhaps using different colors or a stronger shadow on the text would make it easier on the eyes.
06 - Very simple and definitely legible. Sadly though, wrong week number on the information. The text feels a little jumbled being so spaced out. Perhaps keeping the icon to one side as the other banners do would provide more room to space out the text and not cramp it up so much.
06 - I was going to vote for this banner, but then I noticed you got the week number wrong, which is really important in a banner.
