Security Staff Volunteers
We had our final meeting today, and we're really getting geared up...it always sneaks up so fast.
So, the official word is as follows:
If you are able to mail in or fax a form in before AUGUST 15th, then you should do so. That is the cutoff for registration through the office. If you can't get your forms in before then, just come by room #222 when you arrive and talk to Maddog, myself, or the lead on duty at the time. We can even take signups on the spot, so if you're interested in working, please don't hesitate!
Experience is ABSOLUTELY NOT necessary, but if you do have some experience, we are also looking for a few good people to help out in the operations office. Experience could be in security, general dispatch...anything that involves coordinating bodies and events with appropriate law enforcement and crowd control.
I will be contacting the office to let them know that we may have some new registration forms coming in without signatures, so don't worry! They won't get thrown out!
So, Officially, we are NOT FULL YET! We still have positions open and we will be accepting new staffers up to and through the con.
