[bang!]

That was your warning shot. You might notice the hole I've considerately left for you in the architecture. The next one will be between the eyes of the next person I find.

This is a violation of my long-standing neutrality. Surrender now and I might consider letting the UN try you over my rifle.

I will be much less pretty if you shoot me, and that will make me sad. So please don't.

When you shot the house, you shot the culprit. Welcome to the Mansion. It takes people from their worlds and keeps them here.

All of the residents were just as shocked to be here as you are, so please refrain from murdering us.

The mansion. In other words, this house is the culprit.

You could try better lies than that.

If I were lying, I'd try something you'd actually believe. Instead, I'm trying to help.

Besides, who do you know who has the power to take you away from your home to a completely different, entirely inescapable world? 'Cause I'd be seriously impressed by that kind of technology. But I bet you can't think of a single person, because it doesn't exist. It's only the Mansion.

For some reason, Russia comes to mind.

cunningcleavage July 8 2009, 02:25:11 UTC
But Russia is here, and not in your home world. How could it possibly be Russia?

bankingfrancs July 8 2009, 04:15:24 UTC
It couldn't be. There used to be rumors about ridiculous things concerning him a few years ago. Not that I believed any of them.

So it's not Russia. It's not anyone else you know.

Do you still want to accuse the people who live here?

No. I've learned more about the situation. But I still don't believe in your living mansion story. It has something to do with the nation of Wonderland.

Well, maybe it does have something to do with Wonderland itself. I'm not exactly an expert. But the Mansion reacts to things you want, even if you don't really know what it is you're looking for. I think it's at least kind of alive.

It's a mansion.

And you're a country.

bankingfrancs July 8 2009, 18:06:08 UTC
So? That's normal!

Reply

cunningcleavage July 8 2009, 18:20:19 UTC
Not where I'm from.

And where I'm from, living mansions aren't normal either, so why couldn't both be possible here?

Your logic is ridiculous.

And you have a better idea? Please. You're the one shooting at architecture.

That was a warning shot for the person or country responsible!
