so yea another concert entry...the only thing i really like to write about in my journal. i like those memories. tonight me and jesse made our way to austin (i drove, go me) for queens of the stone age, ...and you will know us by the trail of dead, and peaches. ok first off...peaches was the absolute most appalling thing ive ever seen. imagine two incredibly unattractive females singing (with no band) about sex and being lesbians. and the wore strap ones and spit blood on the crowd. interesting, but not good. then the real reason i came to the show, ...and you will know us by the trail of dead came out and rocked the house. austin is their home town, so the crowd really responded well. the destruction of their stage setup was very cool also. if you havent checked these guys out yet, i strongly suggest doing so. their album "source tags and codes" is pretty cheap, usually between 6.99 and 8.99. then queens of the stone age came out and rocked the fucking house. i haven't seen a moshpit so crazy since probably the offsping circa americana. people stage diving, crowdsurfing, crowd sways, mini pits. it was fucking amazing. "no one knows" better be all over every rock station and mtv or im going to be very angry. that song is outstanding.
well...tommorow is the big day. i get my own apartment. im so nervous, but i think its all going to go well. i'll no longer have access to a computer whenever i want, so this may be the last update for quite some time. so don't get lonely now, and dry your crying eyes. heh. time to take the big step. wish me luck.
