We are the jaded generation. Getting old for us isn't going to be a loss, because we are a lot wiser a lot earlier than the generations before us. The general public is not going to be a bunch of bible beating, guideline following sheep. i can feel it. our generation is going to do something great. it could be a collapse of all things we know. that may not be appealing, but either way it is still great, in the overwhelming sense of the word. but i dont think our generation is going to follow the same formula as our parents and grandparents: go through school, go to college, get a job, work your life away, die old with a shitty retirement plan. at least i hope not. if anyone has the potential to break from such a meaningless mold and cycle, its ours. maybe i've been hanging around with to many cynical intellectuals, but i refuse to believe the masses are going to care about pop music and coca cola products and macdonalds and nike and V-8 engines forever. i sure as fuck wont.
