It is clearly apparent that G Dub is a pretty shitty president, but why does he have to go after gay people to ensure a GOP win in November. All he has to do is let Karl Rove call people terrorists and the Republicans will still have the Congress. Instead, Bush has decided to attack the gay community to get his base back. Not only can gays not get married now (except for Mass.), Bush wants to change the fucking constitution so that it is known that gay couples are inferior. Why the fuck should anyone care who loves who? It is the same family values bullshit hypocrisy that allows Bush to critisize gay people while his girls get shit faced in downtown Austin. As opposed to a couple secret service agents getting fired and his girls getting reprimanded, the lives of thousands of people get premanently fucked up for now and years to come because some old windbags from red states think that they can get an easy win off of preserving marriage in a way that excludes homosexuals. What I find to be the ultimate irony in this situation is that everyone is mad at Bush for (supposedly) fucking up foreign policy, yet gays have been denied access to help defend our country because all the kings horses and all the kings men would rather their soldiers sexually abuse a bunch of Iraqis than get hot and heavy in the showers. What is next, gays cant be people?
